The Pre-Soccer Program (U7) is specifically designed to introduce younger children to soccer and provide a smooth entry into team play the following year.  The key objective at this age is for every player to establish a basic understanding of the game and to get as many touches on the ball as possible.

DATES AND TIME:

The 2024 Fall U7 Program will meet from September 13 to October 18th.   It is 6 Friday night sessions between those dates.

Each session runs from 5pm to 6pm, with the first 30 minutes as "practice" and the last 30 minutes as games against other U7 teams.

Training sessions are held rain or shine.

COACHES:

Coaches are parent volunteers.  Teams cannot be formed and players will not get to play without parents stepping up to coach. The coach to player ratio is 1 to 8.

UNIFORMS/EQUIPMENT:

• A uniform kit and a size #3 soccer ball will be provided at NO CHARGE for all U7 players
• Shin guards with socks covering the shin guard (mandatory)
• Soccer cleats are recommended
• Water bottle
